When a chat topic needs formal debate treatment, use @convene to trigger a structured 4-phase deliberation without leaving the chat.

The deliberation runs through four phases:

  1. Opening Statements — each expert stakes out their position
  2. Cross-Examination — experts challenge each other
  3. Rebuttals — experts defend or refine their positions
  4. Synthesis — convergence on key insights

The entire deliberation is saved in your chat history, and you return to the You> prompt afterward.

@convene requires a topic:

  • @convene Should we ship the MVP?
  • @convene (alone) — shows a usage hint
